Soon to be a record with ya.com!

20 days without my Adsl service! Another 2 days and with Ya.com we will manage to beat our own earlier record. Thanks to one of my neighbours and to the wi-fi technology I still manage to receive my e-mails but the bandwith available to me is very small and capricious. That explains my absence of postings in the last 3 weeks.

I am furious at ya.com as you can imagine, but mainly because their idea of a "service" is close to ZERO. The staff you talk to on the phone (daily) seems unexperienced and unconcerned, is always unable to help but not even sorry for your troubles. They have to deal with unadequate procedures and unreliable sofwares (it took once up to 7 minutes just to bring up my incidents records on their screen, and 3 times were unable to find it and I had to call back! And If you open more than one incident on their system their are totally lost, and none of your problems will be resolved). As with most helpdesk huge platforms you cannot talk to "someone in charge". You just have to wait, wait and wait...

Hey...I've experienced too many times the same problems with the Spanish phone&internet providers. I won't tell you now how I got burnt by Telefonica and Jazztel when trying to get an Internet access...a too long story...

Recently I wanted to transfer my mobile number from movistra to vodafone...my line is now cancelled by movistar but I've not received my new vodafone SIM card...that means that I cannot use my cell phone to make calls neither to receive...I've been waiting for 2 weeks...I've called them 30 times...I've talked with an inefficient customer service that cannot solve the problem...all the oprators have no idea about how to give a service to a customer...I'm about to kill somebody...

Paying 5 euros per hour to those guys at the helpdesk (mostly students I guess) is probably the cause of this mess and useless service...

The problem is that all providers are are inefficient...none of them is offering a correct customer service...I've tried lots of them... Spain (including Catalunya) wants to be a modern state, however it's still a under developed country in some areas...

Good luck with ya.com
